Optional services are available to CattleFax members only. Members have the option to add CattleFax cash and news package to their existing quote service or to order the packages through the Members Only area on the CattleFax web site. Members have a choice to receive their weekly Update by e-mail, web access, DTN or faxed in lieu of their postal copy.

If you currently have DTN, FarmDayta, or MCG quote systems you may add the CattleFax cash market and information package on for an additional fee.
CattleFax information and cash trade is updated continuously throughout the day. CattleFax offers packages for both delayed and instant services. Both services include the following pages: a Manager’s Snapshot, Flash News, Summary of Sales, Data and Analysis, Grain Commentary, Boxed Beef, Grid Price Comparison, Basis and 6 pages of Fed Prices by region with sales and commentary and a page of Feeder Prices with sales and commentary. The instant service provides the package in its entirety; the delayed service provides three package choices — Fed, Feeder or Combo (Fed & Feeder).

E-mail is one choice of delivery of the CattleFax Update report. The report is e-mailed to members’ minutes after completion on Friday afternoons.
CattleFax members may elect to take their Update report from the Members Only section on the CattleFax web site. The reports can be viewed, downloaded and printed minutes after publication on Friday afternoons.
Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view the Update file and can be down loaded from the Adobe web page (www.adobe.com).

The CattleFax Update report is now available on DTN instant and delayed services as another choice of delivery. Members’ may elect to take their weekly Update through DTN by viewing and/or printing their report from their machine. The Update is available within an hour after completion on Friday afternoons.
